Ready to tackle a home organizing project?!

The new year always has me purging and trying to get my life and home back in order after the busy holiday season! One project I have been putting off is under the sink in my bathroom. I keep my skincare, hair care items, lotions, and miscellaneous personal care items under there.

Brightroom bathroom organizers were exactly what I needed!

I started this by purging and giving away unused and old items, and giving the cabinet a good cleaning. Having fewer things to organize is so much easier.

Then I grabbed a few sturdy bins from Target. They start out at just $3 a piece, and I appreciate that the labels were easy to remove. They came off with no additional product needed!

Here’s what I picked up:

As you can see things were a bit messy and chaotic under the sink! 😩🫣 This area was way overdue for some organizing and needed some attention.  Plus, it’s mostly my stuff so I am the only one to blame here! LOL

I needed some help corralling skincare and beauty products so that everything had a home.

This pull-out shelf looks tidy and is more functional!

The modular shape of the bins is perfect for stacking next to each other, and on top if desired. You can configure them in so many ways to fit your needs and space! They come in various sizes and overall I am impressed with the quality and selection of sizes.

In my cabinet pull-out shelf, I was able to use two Brightroom medium bins with handles and divide body lotions in one and haircare items in the other. Now I can easily identify and grab what I have quickly! This brings me so much joy. The two smaller stackable bins work great for smaller items. I can also add more on top for additional storage in the future.

These longer stackable clear bins work perfectly under my sliding shelf. I can easily slide them out and back again. I have tanning supplies on one side and eyelash supplies on the other.

Although this piece was the most expensive out of them all, it’s honestly worth every penny. All my skincare, face products, and serums have a home now! There is even storage in the middle for my cotton face pads, Q-Tips, and extra blending sponges. I love that I can easily turn it into what I need to grab.

I also found this large cleaning caddy in the Bullseye’s Playground area inside Target for just $5 and I LOVE it. I am using it to corral bathroom cleaning products and cleaning rags.

The shape is perfect as it doesn’t have dividers and can fit so much stuff. I may buy another and store my hair dryer and curling irons in it for the other side of my sink.

Now it feels like everything has a spot and it’s faster to get ready in the morning. I may get more ambitious and even create labels using my Cricut machine!

There are other options, too!

If you don’t have built-in shelves and want to maximize the full vertical space, you could use free-standing tiered drawers. In the past, I used the Simple Trending 3-Tier Under Sink Organizers to keep the space under my sink tidy.

The chrome style I used is currently out of stock, but similar ones from the same brand are now available (and on sale!) in black or white.

They were a cinch to assemble – I only needed a screwdriver for each organizer, which was a huge bonus. And with three drawers rather than two, you can divide your stuff into more precise groups and really maximize storage. Total time spent was 30 minutes, so it’s a great project if you only have a few minutes.
