The Historical Society of the Town of Chester will present a photo exhibition celebrating the 225th Anniversary of the incorporation of the Town of Chester, Warren County, NY on July 13th and 14th, 2024.
The exhibit included 350 enlarged, glossy photos of the town from the 1880s until the present, taken from family albums, museum collections, postcards and other sources.
In addition, on the 13th only, the Town will celebrate the historic anniversary with music, food trucks and a car show around the Town Hall grounds. At Dusk on the 13th there will be a fireworks display.
This event and the exhibition is free and open to the public form 10 am until 5 pm (with fireworks to follow on the 13th).
