Global vivo X300 allegedly runs Geekbench

The global version of vivo’s upcoming X300 allegedly has the model number V2515 and was spotted in the Geekbench online database earlier today, if a tipster on X is to be believed.

The phone is powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500 SoC and managed a single-core score of 3,177 and a multi-core score of 9,701, as you can see in the screenshot below.

We always caution you not to take benchmark results by unreleased phones seriously, and we’ll do the same here. These prototypes may not have everything optimized properly just yet.

Anyway, the X300 (if that’s what this is) has 16GB of RAM and runs Android 16. Here’s the problem. Back in August, another vivo phone, this time with the model number V2509A, was spotted in the Geekbench database, and at the time that one was said to be the X300. So maybe that’s the Chinese-market model and this is the international one, or maybe these tipsters are just making stuff up, it’s not very clear exactly what’s going on right now.

The X300 has a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and slimmer bezels than last year’s X200 Pro mini, a 200 MP main rear camera, an upgraded telephoto camera with macro functionality, a 50 MP selfie camera with autofocus and Zeiss co-branding, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It should become official alongside the X300 Pro in October.
