Japanese star Nadaka is the latest addition to the roster of ONE Championship world champions after he claimed the inaugural atomweight Muay Thai world title last weekend in Japan. He was a class act through and through, even checking on his fallen foe Numsurin Chor Ketwina of Thailand backstage after the match.
The 24-year-old Eiwa Sports Gym standout dominated Numsurin in their scheduled five-round title match at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri on Nov. 16 at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena on his way to a unanimous decision win.
Nadaka was at it right from the opening bell, using feints to lure his opponent before exploding for clean and accurate strikes. In the second round, he further showcased his varied arsenal, attacking with punches while frustrating Numsurin by staying clear from counters.
In the third frame, the 10-time Muay Thai world champion further grew in confidence and continued to pour it on with crisp combinations. Then the championship rounds saw Nadaka round things up as he made his way to park the win.

As much as he was outstanding in the Circle, he was the same off it, making sure that Numsurin was fine by going to him backstage. They exchanged pleasantries and gave words of encouragement before posing for a photo.
ONE Championship captured the post-fight meet-up on video and shared it on Instagram.

Nadaka extends win streak to 40 straight with victory at ONE 173
Apart from adding the ONE atomweight Muay Thai world title to his list of achievements, Nadaka’s victory at ONE 173 extended his current winning streak to 40 straight spanning six years.
His last four victories all came in ONE Championship in just eight months since making his promotional debut in March this year. In total, he has compiled a 66-6 record to date.
Prior to joining ONE Championship, Nadaka dominated the Muay Thai circuit in both Japan and Thailand. Now with the largest martial arts organization in the world, the Japanese standout is looking to advance his career further and showcase his talents to a global audience.
