Galaxy A07 5G debuts with 6,000mAh battery, 120Hz display


Samsung’s new A-series phone, the Galaxy A07 5G is officially unveiled in the Philippines and is available for purchase. It was recently listed on the official Samsung website in Myanmar as well.

The Galaxy A07 5G is equipped with a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. In the Philippines, the phone gets 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB storage. It also sports a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

It comes with a 6.7-inch LCD with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 800 nits HBM brightness, and an HD+ resolution.

At the back, the Galaxy A07 5G gets a dual camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth unit. For selfies, there’s an 8MP camera housed inside a waterdrop notch.

One of the highlights of the phone is its 6,000mAh battery, which is much larger than its predecessor. The handset runs One UI 8.0 and will receive six years of Android OS updates as well as six years of security patches.

The phone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G connectivity, and a USB Type-C port. It also gets an IP54 dust and water resistance rating, is 8.2mm thick, and weighs 199 grams.





In the Philippines, the Galaxy A07 5G is being sold in Black and Light Violet color options. The 4GB/64GB option is priced at PHP 8,290 ($140) and the 4GB/128GB model is PHP 9,990 ($170).
