The rumors were true about Danhausen. The former AEW star made his way to WWE with a debut at Elimination Chamber in Chicago. He came out of the mystery box and merrily walked down the ramp at the United Center in Chicago.
After his momentous debut, he has taken on X to break his silence. He responded to WWE’s post about his debut, captioned Danhausen was in the BOX. The 35-year-old then claimed that Danhausen is ALIVE, perhaps to deny rumors that he was away and metaphorically dead to the AEW fanbase. He also added that he is finally back ‘inside’ their television.
Thanks for the submission!
“Danhausen is ALIVE and back inside your television,” wrote Danhausen.
It was the segment before the main event and after CM Punk vs. Finn Balor’s match. As the mystery box was thrown back and forth around RAW and SmackDown, it was appropriate for both the General Managers to open it. They used crowbars to open the crate, which contained a coffin.
What else happened at Elimination Chamber?
The show kicked off with the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match. Raquel Rodriguez did a massive job in dominating her opponents. However, Rhea Ripley took the win and punched her ticket to WrestleMania 42. She will face Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship.
AJ Lee then defeated Becky Lynch to win her first singles match in more than a decade. She is now the Intercontinental Champion, proudly heading to ‘Mania with the title. Then hometown hero CM Punk defended his title against Finn Balor. In a grueling match that pushed Punk to his limits, he still came out on top. Punkster now heads to the main event of WrestleMania 42 against Roman Reigns.
In the main event, it was the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. The bout featured a surprise return by Seth Rollins, costing Logan Paul, and, as usual, Drew McIntyre costing Cody Rhodes. Thus, Randy Orton benefited and took the win, making this his second EC triumph.
