    How to complete Ross’s Request in Crimson Desert

    Ross is the dispatch coordinator of Kliff’s camp in Crimson Desert. Sometime after reuniting with him, he will ask you to investigate an ongoing situation with the local apothecary. This will start the Ross’s Request side quest in the game.

    In this guide, we break down how to complete Ross’s Request in Crimson Desert.

    Crimson Desert: How to do Ross’s Request

    You can get Ross’s Request from Ross at the main camp in Howling Hill. The side quest is straightforward and requires you to speak with the character and investigate something for him.

    Step 1: Talk to Ross

    Go to your camp in the Howling Hill region of Hernand. Ross should have a quest marker on him.

    Speak with Ross, and he will disclose that bandits have been harassing the local apothecary and that helping out the locals is sure to build good relationships. According to him, this also means more work will come to the Greymanes.

    Once you are done speaking with Ross, your map will be updated and mark the location of the apothecary.

    Step 2: Go to the designated spot

    The apothecary’s cabin is located south of Anvil Hill and north of Nas River. Once you make it to the location, you will find a man working near the pen. Approach him and interact to start the conversation. Once the conversation concludes, he will tell Kliff that the next time bandits harass him, he will let the Greymanes know about it.

    After that, the map will update again, and this time it will mark your campsite, so return to Howling Hill and speak with Ross.

    Step 3: Report back to Ross

    Once you have made it back to the Howling Hill Camp, you will find Ross sitting in his usual spot. Approach him and report on what you have learned.

    Ross will let Kliff know that this will greatly improve the reputation of the Greymanes. Once the conversation ends, the quest will be complete.

    You will gain +50 Trust with Ross for completing his request.

    Gaining trust is a key mechanic in Crimson Desert, and the best way to do so with NPCs is by doing request missions. These missions can often include exploration, fetch quests, investigations, or just conversing with characters. While they can feel mundane, it’s worth doing them for the trust and rewards you gain.
