The Rangers have lost six in a row, completely erasing any doubt that they could rebound after a decent run out of the Olympic break. On the bright side, they are firmly in 31st in the NHL and are seeing more and more kids hit the lineup. On the downside, they are still horrid to watch except for the top line and the newer kids in the lineup. Now we also have Drew Fortescue making it prospect number 3 hitting the lineup in March.
This season has been a lot of bad, but between Fortescue, Adam Sykora, Dylan Garand, Gabe Perreault, Jaro Chmelar, and Matthew Robertson, it’s been a decent year for development. Not all will be long term Rangers, but this is still a good thing.
