Liv Morgan is one of the biggest female stars in the professional wrestling world right now. She won the Women’s World Championship for the second time in her career after defeating Stephanie Vaquer at Night 1 of WrestleMania 42. She suffered a major injury last year and was taken out of action, she talked about it in a recent interview.
The current Women’s World Champion suffered a major shoulder injury in June last year. She dislocated her shoulder during a match with Kairi Sane on RAW which forced her to relinquish the Women’s Tag Team Championships. She made an appearance on Cody Rhodes‘ What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast where she looked back at her injury.
Thanks for the submission!
“I was like on a really upward like trajectory and I had a lot of awesome things going on at work. But even though I had all these awesome things going on, I still like wanted more. The world is not enough. Yeah, I was in the middle of like four different amazing things, but I still was like, I can do more and I want more. And then I got injured and I lost it all. And I wasn’t able to make good on anything that I was involved in. And I remember just feeling like, why the fuck was I still wanting more when I had so much in front of me? Like, why wasn’t I enjoying and being present in what I had versus still seeking more, more, more, more?” She said.
Liv Morgan also shed light on how the injury has changed her perspective towards life. She revealed that she’s letting the blessings come to her naturally.
“And so I like now on the other side of the injury coming back, I’m really just like, I’m not seeking anything. Not that I’m not like hungry or wanting more, but I’m just gonna just let the blessings come to me versus like pushing and wanting and hoping I’m just gonna just be present and wake up every day and just like, do my best and just see what happens.”
Fans are excited to see what’s next for Liv Morgan following her win at WrestleMania 42.
