Rockstar announces cash reward boost for several jobs and activities

Next week in GTA Online (May 14 – 20, 2026), Rockstar Games will be offering cash payout boosts on various jobs, businesses, and activities in the game. This is part of the next weekly update, but it was revealed in this week’s newswire. These bonuses are not centered around a specific business or property, which is quite interesting since Rockstar Games usually focuses on one of them every week.

Here are more details on businesses, jobs, and activities that will receive cash reward boosts next week.

Various GTA Online jobs and activities set to get boosted payouts next week

Rockstar Games usually shares information about the current week’s update. However, in the latest GTA Online weekly update, developers also mentioned which businesses, jobs, and activities will be getting double the base payouts next week.

Developers mentioned that they will be doubling the base payouts for Special Vehicle Work (CEO Office), Mobile Operations Mission, and Casino Work and Story Missions. Along with that, the Bail Office Targets, A Superyacht Life, and Project Overthrow Missions will also receive a 50% boost in payouts. These bonuses will be applied from next week, May 14, 2026. However, it is unclear whether these are a permanent increase in payouts or a temporary weekly bonus.

This information about the next weekly update is quite unusual from Rockstar Games, since the company does not reveal upcoming updates beforehand. This step could have been taken in order to clear the stage for the GTA 6 announcement, which many people are expecting to drop next week, on May 12 or May 19, 2026.

In the newsletter, the company also teased the next major update for GTA Online coming this summer. This could be the final DLC before GTA 6, in which Michael De Santa and Mr. Faber return from A Safehouse in the Hills.
