It unlocks around level 10 and will carry you through the endgame, so upgrading it and unlocking new perks will go a long way. It can get an additional Critical Chance, which works well with strong status effects that have conditional procs.
2) Plasma Gun
Another good weapon to pair with the Veteran class is the Plasma Gun. It’s the best pick if you are confused about what to use, as it can deal with hordes and bosses alike. However, you are sacrificing a lot of ammo compared to the Recon Lasgun. The ammo in your magazine is your reserve, so you’ll want a reliable secondary option.

3) Spearhead Boltgun
Boltgun or the Boltor is a signature weapon in Warhammer 40k that provides some of the best damage. However, it comes at the cost of low ammo efficiency, so you don’t want to be wasting too much on trash mobs.
