The Rangers won a game in Dallas the other night. Now they have Carolina at home in the first of a rare afternoon back to back, with a date with the Devils on Monday afternoon. Their schedule to close out 2025 is an absolute gauntlet, but maybe they needed to face good teams to snap out of whatever funk they were in? Who knows at this point, but it was nice to see a win.
Dallas and Carolina are two of the top Cup contenders this season, so another win today would likely send a message to the rest of the league that the Rangers aren’t done yet. But baby steps, they need to win. Or at least have another strong game and get a point.
