Dates, format, and slots distribution announced 


The PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2026 Season 1 will take place from June 2 to June 7 in Southeast Asia. This will be the first international PUBG Mobile tournament of the year. A total of 32 teams will compete for a prize pool of $500,000. Organizers Level Infinite and Krafton have not yet revealed the host country for the event.

There will be two seasons of the PMGO in 2026. The second season will be held later this year in Pakistan. The 2025 edition of the tournament took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where Regnum Carya Esports from Turkey emerged as the winner.


Slots distribution for PMGO 2026 Season 1

Six teams from the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region will earn slots in Season 1 of the PGMO 2026. Five teams each from Southeast Asia and Turkey, two from Western Europe, as well as four each from the Americas and Eastern Europe & Central Asia (EECA), will also secure places in the event. Additionally, three teams from South Asia, one from Africa, and two from the host nation will be included.

Notably, China, India, Japan, and South Korea did not receive any slots in this tournament.

  • South Asia – Three teams
  • Eastern Europe & Central Asia – Four teams
  • Middle East & North Africa – Six teams
  • Turkey – Five teams
  • Western Europe – Two teams
  • Americas – Four teams
  • Africa – One team
  • Host country – Two teams

Regional qualifiers will be held across multiple regions, with the top-performing teams earning spots in PMGO 2026 Season 1. More details about this stage will be announced by the publishers in the coming days.


Format

The Group Stage of the PMGO 2026 will take place on June 2 and June 3. The 32 teams will be divided into two groups. The top six from each group will directly qualify for the Grand Finals. Teams ranked seventh to 14th will advance to the Survival Stage, while the remaining ones will be eliminated from the PUBG Mobile event.

The Survival Stage will be held on June 4. A total of 16 teams (eight from each group) will compete in six matches for four spots in the Grand Finals. The bottom 12 will be eliminated.

The PMGO 2026 Season 1 Grand Finals will be played on June 6 and June 7. Four teams from the Survival Stage and 12 from the Group Stage will battle across 12 matches to be crowned the champion.
