ENHYPEN member Jay addressed disruptive fan comments during a livestream as ongoing discussions around Heeseung’s departure continued to surface online. The singer went live on Weverse on April 20, 2026, to celebrate his birthday with fans.
The livestream, held on Weverse, began in a celebratory tone and ran for over an hour. However, the mood shifted midway as the idol addressed a wave of disruptive comments from viewers referencing the group’s former seven-member lineup.
While many fans filled the chat with birthday wishes, a significant number of comments focused on former member Heeseung and his departure from the group. The exit, which took place on March 10, continued to spark discussion among fans, with some calling for the decision to be reconsidered. These demands extended across social media platforms and into the comment sections of group-related content.
During the live broadcast, Jay’s comment section saw waves of messages such as “777,” “ENHYPEN IS 7,” “touch your nose if you miss Heeseung,” “do you miss Heeseung?” and “his first birthday without Heeseung,” among others. As the comments persisted, Jay paused the celebratory atmosphere to respond directly.
Addressing viewers, the eldest member of the group said that while he personally tried to ignore such remarks and did not feel affected, he was concerned about how similar comments could impact other members, particularly on occasions like their birthdays.
“Some of you guys just like, you don’t care about what the situation is going on. Some of you just keep saying 6, 7, 6 or 7, ENHYPEN is what? NENHYPEN is what? Like, I am okay, I actually don’t care, ENHYPEN is ENHYPEN, like I actually don’t care. I always try my best to ignore that, so I am okay. But don’t do that to other members, especially at their birthdays. I am okay, but please don’t do that to others,” said Jay.
He emphasised that although fans were free to think what they want, repeatedly posting such messages during personal celebrations could be hurtful, saying,
“I really don’t want them to feel that on their birthdays, just thinking is totally free, but if you’re saying that on someone’s birthday, I am saying this again, I am okay. I feel good with all my fans, today was such a happy birthday for me. But I am really nervous that what if other members would feel like depressed in this situation, I really am scared for that. I don’t want that to happen in the future.”
He also urged viewers to be mindful of the ongoing situation and the context surrounding it.
“One thing I want to say is, let’s see the situation. Let’s look around, okay at what is going on,” the singer added.
Following the livestream, clips of this moment circulated widely on social media. Many fans expressed frustration and disappointment toward those who continued posting the comments despite the group moving forward as six members. One fan wrote,

ENHYPEN moves forward as 6, announces Blood Saga world tour and STAN:A podcast after Heeseung’s exit
Following Heeseung’s departure, the group is moving forward with 6 remaining members Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. The group is preparing for its upcoming world tour, Blood Saga, in support of their album The Sin: Vanish. The tour is set to open in Seoul in early May 2026, with multiple shows scheduled at KSPO Dome.
Following the Seoul leg, the tour is expected to expand across South America, North America, Asia, and Europe, with more stops to be announced, continuing into early 2027. The group has also launched a new video podcast, STAN:A, in collaboration with Spotify. They are also nominated at the American Music Awards 2026 in the Best Male K-Pop Artist category.
Meanwhile, on April 8, 2026, HYBE and BELIFT LAB announced that Heeseung is preparing to re-debut as a solo artist under the stage name Evan.
