Lava Agni 4 arrives with the Dimensity 8350 SoC and a 120Hz AMOLED screen


The Lava Agni 4 has made its debut in India. It is powered by a MediaTek chipset, features a metal frame, and comes with the company’s new AI-assistant called Vayu AI.

The handset is powered by the Dimensity 8350 SoC, which is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It gets a vapor chamber cooling system as well.

The Agni 4 comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 1.5K resolution, and 2,400-nit peak brightness. The phone gets an in-display fingerprint scanner.

At the back, the handset features a dual camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, and an 8MP ultrawide unit. For selfies and video calling, the device comes with a 50MP front camera. The phone supports 4K 60fps video recording on all three cameras.

The phone has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 66W wired charging. It runs Android 15 with the company offering three years of OS updates and four years of security patches.

Lava has included a new AI-assistant on the Agni 4, called Vayu AI, which is claimed to be a ‘system level AI’ with ‘emotional awareness’. The phone also supports Google’s Circle to Search and comes with several AI features.

Other specs of the phone include an IP64 rating, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, stereo speakers, infrared sensor, and dual-SIM support.

The Lava Agni 4 is available in Lunar Mist and Phantom Black colors in a single 8GB/256GB variant. It is priced at INR 24,999 ($280) and will go on sale in India starting November 25.
