MI Predicted Playing 11 and Impact Player Options vs KKR for Match 65 of IPL 2026 ft. Hardik Pandya & Suryakumar Yadav

The Mumbai Indians (MI) will face off against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match 65 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) on Wednesday, May 20. The five-time IPL champions will travel to the Eden Gardens in Kolkata for the high-profile encounter.

MI have already been eliminated from playoff contention but will be keen on finishing the league stage on a high. Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav are expected to be back after missing the last game due to injury and personal reasons respectively.

MI’s squad for IPL 2026: Hardik Pandya (c), Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult, Deepak Chahar, Keshav Maharaj, Shardul Thakur, Tilak Varma, Will Jacks, Ryan Rickelton (wk), Sherfane Rutherford, Quinton de Kock (wk), Naman Dhir, Raj Angad Bawa, Corbin Bosch, Allah Ghazanfar, Mayank Markande, Raghu Sharma, Robin Minz (wk), Ashwani Kumar, Danish Malewar, Krish Bhagat, Mayank Rawat, Mohammad Izhar.

On that note, here is MI’s predicted playing XI, plus some impact player options, for their IPL 2026 match against KKR.

Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton have fired in unison at the top of the order and played a key role in the reverse fixture against KKR. They will open the batting once again for MI.

Middle Order: Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav, Naman Dhir, Will Jacks, Hardik Pandya (c)

Mumbai will have their captain Hardik Pandya and their vice-captain Suryakumar Yadav back in the fray. Alongside them will be Naman Dhir, Tilak Varma and Will Jacks. This is probably MI’s full-strength lineup.

Lower Order: Corbin Bosch, Deepak Chahar, Jasprit Bumrah (c), Allah Ghazanfar

Allah Ghazanfar missed out on the last game since MI needed to use an overseas slot in the batting department, but he should be back for this one.

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah, Corbin Bosch and Deepak Chahar will make up the frontline pace attack.

Impact Player Options: Shardul Thakur, Raghu Sharma

MI could choose between Shardul Thakur and Raghu Sharma as their impact player depending upon the conditions in Kolkata. Thakur has picked up wickets, but if the track is dry and offers grip, Raghu could come in.
