Motorola Razr Fold launched in India


As promised, Motorola today launched the Razr Fold in India. The Razr Fold is Motorola’s first book-style folding smartphone, and it will be available in India in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White with two memory options – 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB, priced at INR149,999 ($1,565/€1,340) and INR159,999 ($1,670/€1,425), respectively.

Motorola also launched the Razr Fold’s FIFA World Cup Edition (black) in India, which comes in a single 16GB/512GB configuration with special FIFA UI customizations, FIFA Heroes game, 24 karat FIFA logo plating on the back cover, and costs INR169,999 ($1,775/€1,515). All models are up for pre-orders through Motorola’s official Indian website, with shipments and sales commencing on May 20. The Razr Fold will also be available through Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and other leading retail stores across India.

The Motorola Razr Fold is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, runs Android 16, and features two displays – an 8.1″ 120Hz LTPO P-OLED folding display with a 2,484×2,232-pixel resolution, and a 6.6″ 165Hz LTPO P-OLED cover display with 1080p resolution.

The Razr Fold is fueled by a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support, and features five cameras – a 20MP selfie camera, a 32MP cover camera, a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
