Nothing has confirmed that its upcoming “(b)” series smartphone will indeed launch as the Phone (4b), putting recent speculation to rest. The company has also announced the handset’s launch date.
The Nothing Phone (4b) will debut in India and global markets on July 7, the company confirmed via its social media channels and an official Flipkart microsite.
Nothing also shared an updated design sketch, offering another glimpse at the phone’s design.
While an earlier teaser suggested the Phone (4b) could feature a single rear camera, the latest sketch paints a different picture. It shows a pill-shaped vertical camera module housed within a rectangular camera island. The module appears large enough to accommodate more than one camera sensor
Meanwhile, a separate pill-shaped cutout sits alongside the camera module, likely housing the LED flash and an autofocus sensor. The sketch also reveals a horizontal strip on the camera island, reminiscent of the lighting element on the Nothing Phone (4a). However, it remains unclear whether this is an actual light strip or simply an element of the phone’s design.
