NY Rangers Game 21 Open Thread: Rangers at Vegas

The Rangers put up a dud against Detroit at home (shocker) on Sunday. Now they get away from their own house of horrors, hoping a nice trip out west is just what the doctor ordered. It’s a little terrifying how the Rangers can’t win at home, and it’s clear it’s almost entirely mental at this point. Though the Rangers are now without Gabe Perreault for the entire trip, returned to Hartford to make room for Scott Morrow as injury insurance on the blue line. Perreault was doing just fine and his presence created a far more balanced lineup. Hopefully he’s back soon.

Will Borgen appears to be a game time decision, presumably for Scott Morrow. Urho Vaakanainen was paired with Borgen in practice today, so he’s either scratched or also hurt (he was banged up a week or so ago).
