NY Rangers Game 42 Open Thread: Rangers at Washington

The Rangers continue to find ways to get points but not actually win games, keeping them right in the middle of the pack in terms of points percentage. This makes them not good enough for a playoff spot but not bad enough to fully tank and get a top pick. Now the Rangers get Adam Fox back, and in theory this should make them better. Thing is, the Rangers looked exactly the same with and without him, at least in terms of wins and losses. Fox is still the only player consistently driving offense.

For those that weren’t around for the dark ages of 1998-2004, this is basically what it felt like.
