The OnePlus 15 made its Chinese debut in October and then went global earlier this month. However, for the US market in particular, there was a hurdle. While the company submitted all the necessary documentation to the US FCC for certification of the device as usual, the US government shutdown prevented the agency from actually issuing its certification of the phone, despite the testing having been completed.

This has resulted in a delay in the OnePlus 15’s launch in the US, where it still isn’t available. However, there’s some very good news today, as its FCC certificate has finally been issued. This means OnePlus can now release the handset in the US very soon.

The OnePlus 15 comes with a 6.78-inch 1272×2772 LTPO OLED screen with 165Hz refresh rate and 1,800-nit brightness in High Brightness Mode, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC at the helm, 12/16GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50MP main with OIS, 50MP periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom, 50MP ultrawide), a 32MP selfie camera, and a 7,300 mAh battery with 120W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging. It runs Android 16 with OxygenOS 16 on top.
