Oppo is expected to launch the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro in October, and ahead of that some information about both devices has been outed by none other than Zhou Yibao, the company’s head of the Find product line.
He says the Find X9 Pro will be 8.25mm thick while incorporating a battery that’s bigger than its predecessor’s by “more than 1,500 mAh”. So let’s do the math. The Find X8 Pro comes with a 5,910 mAh battery, so that means we should probably expect its successor to pack a 7,500 mAh cell or thereabouts.

The Find X9 won’t be far behind either, with Zhou confirming that its battery will be bigger than 7,000 mAh, and the phone will also be narrower than its predecessor. Additionally, both models are going to sport flat screens, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors and upgraded vibration motors. Zhou also revealed that the Find X9 Ultra is coming in Q2 next year, so between April and June.
