Per Scott Cullen, New York Rangers prospects Gabe Perreault, Drew Fortescue, and EJ Emery are projected to be members of the 2025 Team USA World Juniors team. Both Perreault and Fortescue were on the 2024 team that won gold, topping Sweden in the finals. The 2025 tournament will be held in Ottawa, which means it’ll be a bit easier for us to watch the games.
In 2024, Perreault finished 6th in scoring, with 3 goals and 10 points in 7 games. Perreault is the best Rangers prospect in the system by far. Fortescue, taken in the 3rd round the same year the Rangers took Perreault in the 1st round, put up 1-3-4 in 7 games, finishing with a +6 rating.
Emery, the Rangers 1st round pick this past summer, will be making his World Juniors debut.
