Take your cat to see the Brooklyn Cyclones play next week

We may be in the dog days of summer, but next Tuesday will be for the cats. The Brooklyn Cyclones minor league baseball team will host its first-ever “PURRRRfect Game” on Tuesday, July 29, allowing fans to bring their feline friends to Maimonides Park to watch the team take on the Jersey Shore BlueClaws. The event follows the success of “Bark in the Park,” which welcomes dogs to the ballpark.

As Brooklyn Paper first spotted, $25 tickets include a PURRRRfect Game t-shirt and allow entry for up to two cats, who must remain secured on a leash or inside a carrier at all times. The game starts at 6:30 p.m.

Sections 22 and 24, located along the right field line, will be reserved for PURRRRfect Game ticket holders.

The next Bark in the Park is set for Tuesday, August 12, when the Cyclones face Hub City. Tickets start at $18.50 and include entry for up to two dogs per ticket holder. A $28.50 ticket option includes a chew toy or pup cup, and fans can also submit a photo of their dog to appear on the Cyclones’ jersey for the final Bark in the Park of the 2025 season.

A pregame pup parade will take place around the field 45 minutes before first pitch. Seating for Bark in the Park ticket holders will be available in sections 20, 22, and 24.

Past Bark in the Park events have included partnerships with local animal hospital Veterinary Emergency Group, which handed out souvenirs to pet owners and held raffles to support VEG Cares — a nonprofit that helps cover life-saving veterinary care for pet owners who can’t afford it, according to the Brooklyn Paper.

It’s unclear whether the PURRRRfect game will feature similar community partners or giveaways. More information about ticket promotions at Maimonides Park can be found here.
