Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest names in sports entertainment and no one can deny that. He may not have much time left in WWE, but the list of dream matches that are yet to happen is long. One of the bouts that fans have been clamoring to see is The Beast Incarnate taking on Oba Femi. Rumors have been swirling that it could also happen at this year’s WrestleMania.
However, Triple H may be forced to cancel this dream match and the reason behind this is Paul Heyman’s demands. Recently, a report from SelfMadePW has been circulating widely, stirring quite a storm on the internet. According to this, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman have reportedly communicated to WWE that Lesnar should not lose any matches from now until his eventual retirement bout.
Thanks for the submission!
The idea is to keep The Beast Incarnate protected and dominant right up to the end of his in-ring career, allowing him to go out on top as the unstoppable monster. Therefore, any superstar Brock faces before his retirement bout would have to take losses. And this puts WWE in a huge dilemma. If Oba Femi faces the former WWE Champion, he might also have to suffer the same fate.
The company is currently in no position to give The Ruler a loss, especially at this point in his career. WWE has been building Femi as an unstoppable force on the main roster, portraying him as indomitable. A loss against Brock Lesnar would erode all his aura and lessen his intimidation, making Oba Femi look like just another powerhouse that can be easily conquered.
The Beast Incarnate is expected to remain undefeated, only to take a loss in his final match. And Gunther is rumored to be his retirement opponent. Therefore, it keeps Oba Femi completely out of the picture and Triple H may have no other choice. The dream match between Femi and Lesnar might never happen due to this very reason.
Triple H may give Brock Lesnar his final match at SummerSlam 2026
Brock Lesnar has been making sporadic appearances in WWE since his return at SummerSlam last year. He competed in some major premium live events like Survivor Series: WarGames and Royal Rumble 2026. It looks like Lesnar is nearing the end of his professional wrestling career.
WWE’s creative head, Triple H, may give the 48-year-old his final match at this year’s SummerSlam. And there’s a very interesting reason behind it. The Biggest Party of the Summer is set to take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this year, which happens to be Brock Lesnar’s home state.
Therefore, the venue of SummerSlam 2026 serves as a precious stage for The Beast Incarnate and WWE often capitalizes on such things to add emotional stakes to it. Therefore, Triple H might decide to book Lesnar’s retirement match at the annual summer spectacle this year itself.
It could be the last time The Beast Incarnate walks down that ramp as an active in-ring performer. However, this is currently speculation and it all depends on what WWE has in store for Brock Lesnar.
