The Xiaomi Pad 8 was initially scheduled to launch in India alongside the Xiaomi 17 series on March 11, but the company moved the launch up by a day. The tablet is now available for purchase in India and is identical to the version sold in China.
In India, the Xiaomi Pad 8 is priced at INR 33,999 ($370) for the 8GB/128GB variant, while the 12GB/256GB model costs INR 36,999 ($400). The tablet will be offered in Graphite Gray and Titanium Blue color options, with sales set to begin on March 17.

There’s also a Nano Texture display variant of the tablet, which is priced at INR 38,999 ($425).
As for specs, the Pad 8 is identical to the Chinese variant. It gets an 11.2-inch IPS LCD panel with 3200×2136-pixel resolution and up to a 144Hz refresh rate. The tablet offers a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP camera up front for video calls and selfies, and a 9,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

The tablet also supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, and comes with a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. It runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and offers several AI features.
