Will the Rangers finally get a goal at home? Third time’s a charm after all, right?
The Blueshirts welcome the Edmonton Oilers back to MSG with the hopes that Stuart Skinner will cure all that ails their scoring at home. Charlie Lindgren stole one for Washington on Sunday night, keeping the Rangers scoreless at home to start the season. The only clunker was the opener, and though the Rangers have played better, they are still without that coveted goal at MSG to get the crowd into it.
The Rangers are still looking for a goal at home, and now Edmonton begins a rough stretch of games against likely playoff teams. Edmonton, Toronto, and Montreal are all next on the docket, with Minnesota coming up next week before the Rangers travel for their annual Western Canada road trip. Hopefully this is the game the Rangers finally break through.
