NY Rangers Game 10 Open Thread: Rangers at Calgary

The Rangers gifted San Jose their first win of the season, more wins than the Rangers have at MSG this year, with poor and sloppy play. Now with Matt Rempe joining Vincent Trocheck on the injured list, Brennan Othmann has been recalled to hopefully inject some life into this listless offense. Othmann will join Will Cuylle in flanking Noah Laba for a line that should be fun to watch. Taylor Raddysh as a top line winger will likely be less fun to watch.

Calgary should be better than they are, and there already rumors about them potentially blowing things up, starting with defenseman Rasmus Andersson. The Flames have a similar situation to the Rangers where they are producing chances but not finishing. This could be a very boring game, or perhaps the floodgates open for both teams and it’s a shootout.
