The Denver Nuggets are amidst one of the most challenging times, with their entire core group of players hit by an injury wave. Ahead of Friday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks, the Nuggets listed nine players on the injury report, which features Nikola Jokic, all the starting unit player and even the key rotational players who contribute heavily when the entire roster is healthy.
The Nuggets listed Jokic, Cam Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas as out once again. Jokic is recovering from a bruise in his left knee and is expected to make his comeback by the All-Star break if the rehabilitation process goes smoothly. Johnson (right knee bone bruise) and Valanciunas (right calf strain) remain sidelined with no timeline for return.
Thanks for the submission!
Spencer Jones, who has turned into a regular feature in Denver’s starting lineup, is listed as questionable due to left ankle inflammation and illness. He played just nine minutes in the previous game against the Celtics, in which the Nuggets recorded a fantastic 114-110 win on the road.

All three players were in action in the previous game against Boston.
The Nuggets also listed Bruce Brown as questionable with right knee inflammation. He played 19 minutes and scored four points against the Celtics.
