Historic Eastfield Village, in East Nassau, Rensselaer County, NY, is celebrating its annual Founder’s Day Open House on Saturday, September 21 from 11 am until 4 pm. This is the one day of the year that the general public is invited to come and visit the privately-owned, recreated nineteenth century village.
Guests can tour more than 20 historic structures and their furnishings, dating from 1789 to 1840. Master craftspeople, including a printer, tinsmith, blacksmith, cabinetmaker, potter, slate carver, spinner, weaver and more, will be demonstrating their skills and selling their wares.
